SCFA announces Week 5 Players of the Week

The Southern California Football Association is proud to announce its fifth Players of the Week for the 2022 season.

Offensive: Forrest Brock, Santa Monica (QB, 6-3, 200, Fr., Topanga, CA/Birmingham HS)
Forrest Brock led SMC to a come-from-behind OT victory with 6 total TDs, while going 30/38 (78.9%) for 322 yards and 5 passing TDs through the Air. His 33-yard TD with 1:02 left in the 4th quarter forced OT. Brock also called the game-winning 4-yard TD pass in overtime.

Defensive: Gabriel Magana, Santa Ana (DB, 6-0, 190, Fr., Mira Mesa, CA/Valencia HS)
Gabriel Magana came up with two interceptions and ran both back for touchdowns in Santa Ana's 49-14 win over Grossmont. Magana also recorded 2 tackles in the win.

Special Teams/All-Purpose: Erik Hehl, Fullerton (DL, 6-1, 250, Fr., Newport Beach, CA/Newport Harbor HS)
Erik Hehl came up big for the Hornets on Saturday night blocking a field goal and a punt, helping FC knock off El Camino on critical plays.
