SCFA League Titles Up For Grabs in Regular-Season Finales

WEEK 10 SCHEDULE | LIVE STREAM LINKS

It all comes down to this.

All five Southern California Football Association league championships will be decided with games this Saturday as teams battle for titles and postseason position in Week 10.

A pair of National Division teams, Golden West and Ventura, are unbeaten heading into Saturday's regular-season finale and will look to complete perfect 10-0 seasons. But both squads will be going up some tough opponents who are also looking for a share of the league crown and a higher seed in the playoffs.

NATIONAL NORTHERN LEAGUE
Ventura (9-0, 6-0 NNL) is a win away from a perfect regular season but will have to take on perennial contender Mt. San Antonio College (8-1, 5-1 NCL). The Mounties were upset in their Northern League opener 48-43 at Citrus College for their lone blemish this season. A win by Mt. SAC would create a co-league championship with Ventura. But the Mounties would earn the head-to-head tiebreaker and automatic spot into the Southern California Regional Playoffs. A Ventura victory would secure its automatic bid.

The 6 p.m. game can be viewed live for free online at SoCalCollegeSports' YouTube.

NATIONAL CENTRAL LEAGUE
Golden West (9-0, 6-0 NCL) is in the same situation as Ventura. The Rustlers are on the road at Fullerton College (7-2, 5-1 NCL) and will earn a perfect regular season and automatic playoff berth with a win. A co- and tri-championship in the league are possible with both Fullerton and Cerritos (7-2, 5-1 NCL) entering the final week just a game back. Cerritos closes out its schedule at East Los Angeles.

The Golden West at Fullerton battle is set for noon and can be viewed free online live at the FC Athletics YouTube channel.

NATIONAL SOUTHERN LEAGUE
El Camino (8-1, 6-0 NSL) and Saddleback (8-1, 6-0 NSL) will battle for the Southern League championship with their game in Mission Viejo. The winner takes the title and automatic spot into the SCFA playoffs.

The 1 p.m. game can be viewed live online for free at SportsNetUSA's YouTube.

3C2A REGIONAL PLAYOFFS
Starting this season, six National Division teams from the South and North will qualify for the 3C2A Regional Playoffs. The league champions will earn automatic spots with the final three selected using their RPI ratings. Southern California Regional Playoffs get underway on November 22 with the 3C2A State Championship set for December 13 at the site of the SCFA champion.

AMERICAN METRO LEAGUE
Victor Valley (8-1, 4-0 AML) needs a win at LA Southwest in its regular-season finale at 1 p.m. to wrap up the Metro League title. The Rams are a game up on Antelope Valley (9-1, 4-1 AML), as the Marauders already received a forfeit victory over Compton in Week 10 and will be watching closely for final results in Los Angeles. A VVC loss would give the two squads a share of the Metro championship.

AMERICAN PACIFIC LEAGUE
Santa Monica (8-1, 4-0 APL) takes a one-game lead into its 1 p.m. finale at West LA on Saturday. A win by the Corsairs would secure the Pacific League championship. Second-place San Bernardino Valley (6-3, 3-1 APL) closes against LA Pierce at home, needing a win and a SMC loss for a share of the Pacific League title.

The winners of Pacific and Metro leagues will face off in the American Division Championship Bowl.
